The Trade Council in Toronto offers two internships to Danish students with a bachelor degree. It is expected that the interns have good analytical skills and have extensive knowledge of English.
The interns participate in the daily work of the office which focuses on preparations of reports concerning the Canadian market, various export promotion activities, participation in meetings and replying to inquiries from Danish as well as Canadian companies. The Trade Council in Toronto focuses on sectors such as ICT, Defense, Energy and Environment, Design, Fashion, Architecture, Mining, Oil & Gas – and Invest in Denmark.
One position will be open: starting 1st of August 2012.
The trainee will primarily work within the areas of ICT, Defense as well as Mining, Oil and Gas & Invest In Denmark

Useful information The internships run for a period of 6 or 12 months starting in January or August. Please state if you are applying for a 6- or 12-month internship (12-months application will be preferred).
The interns at the Trade Council will receive no salary during their stay. The students are responsible for all expenses in relation to the stay such as travel costs, insurance and living expenses. It is assumed that the students are able to use their education grants (SU) or finance the stay in other ways. The Trade Council does, however, donate a small monthly grant towards the rental cost of an apartment in Toronto.
Applications should be sent by letter, fax or email to the Trade Council with enclosed CV, exam results and any recommendations. The Trade Council only accepts applications written in English.
