New application process for visas and Danish residence permits

Due to upcoming changes in the visa application process in Canada, there will be a temporary procedure in place starting August 1st 2014. This procedure will be in place for the duration of the transition period and until the new application process has been established.

As of August 1st, visa applications can no longer be submitted through BLS International. Instead, applications must be submitted accordingly:

  • Visa applications can be submitted to the Embassy in Ottawa or the Consulate General in Toronto.

All visa applications must be submitted in person, however if you have previously had your biometrics (photo and fingerprints) recorded for a Schengen visa, you are able to courier your application to us. If you courier your application to the Embassy and your biometric data is not available in our system upon receipt, you will be contacted to make a personal appearance.

Please note that any previous biometrics must have been recorded for the purpose of a Schengen visa. If your biometrics have been recorded for visas to the US, UK or for purposes related to Canada, these cannot be used for a Schengen visa and you must appear in person in order to apply.

To book an appoint prior to August 1st 2014, please continue to contact BLS International.

To book an appointment on or after August 1st 2014, please contact the Embassy or the individual consulates directly:
