Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Arctic Council

Deputy Head of Mission, Maja Sverdrup, will be participating in a panel discussion on international arctic cooperation. The discussion is held as a part of a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Arctic Council.  

Carleton University and Global Affairs Canada are celebrating 20 years of arctic cooperation with a full day of inspiring speakers and panel debates. The event is free of charge and open for the public.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Dion, will give a keynote address on Canada’s international Arctic policies, and the rest of the day will feature panel discussions on the origin and accomplishments of the Arctic Council.
