Winnipeg is the capital of Manitoba and home of the provincial government. Winnipeg is also the location of two universities. Manitoba enjoys a strong, diversified economy with the key sectors being manufacturing, agriculture and food processing, mining and transportation. Medical research, health care, science and technology also make strong contributions to the economy.

Winnipeg possesses a vibrant cultural community including several theatres, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet to name a few. The most active cultural organization for the Danish-Canadian community is the Danish-Canadian Club, a founding member of the Scandinavian Cultural Centre.

Your inquiries regarding emergency passports, translations, tourism and culture are welcome. The Danish Trade Commission in Toronto is best suited to handle matters related to trade.
