Denmark will lift its border restrictions for Canadian residents as of July 4th 2020 as per a press release from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For Canadian residents wishing to travel, please be advised that the official travel advisory for Denmark from Global Affairs Canada is still in effect.

Although the requirement for documenting a worthy purpose is no longer in force, other requirements may apply to your visit in order to be granted entry.

Depending on the type of stay (business, family visit, tourism, etc.) requirements can include a minimum length of stay, specific documentation for your visit and similar. Please review the official website for guidelines to entry to Denmark.

For Danish residents wishing to travel, please be advised that the travel advisory for Canada is still in effect. Entry restrictions are still in force, including a mandatory 14 day quarantine for all travelers arriving to Canada.

Please review the guidelines available via the official COVID-19 information portal for Canada as well as via Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada.
