If you bring original documentation to your appointment, you must also bring a copy if you wish to keep the original. Once a case has been processed, all associated documentation is shredded.

Documentation in French is unfortunately not accepted.
The Schengen countries in Canada have agreed on a harmonized list of documents, which you can access here. Please note that requirements between the various Schengen countries will vary slightly, so please ensure you follow the checklists outlined in the bullet points above.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please be advised that Schengen visa applications from Canada are not processed by the Royal Danish Embassy in Ottawa. While your physical file and passport are stored at the Royal Danish Embassy in Ottawa, your digital file will be processed at the Danish Consulate General in New York City.
As a result of this, the Royal Danish Embassy in Ottawa cannot assist you with the Schengen visa application process, including guidance, decisions, processing time and accepting applications.
