New Entry/Exit System for Travel to Europe
Important update for non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay to 29 European countries.
As of October 12th 2025, the Entry/Exit System (EES) will gradually record the following information:
- data from the travel document
- travel dates
- biometric data
The information is recorded in line with EU data protection rules.
